Happy St. Patrick's Day

Everyone pretending to be Irish for the day? I can say that it's warmed up here, so no more shivering (for now). Lots of green in the neighborhood this weekend.

Yesterday was the St. Patrick's Day Bar Stroll (crawl really) - a 35-year Key West tradition. Michael's out of town and I don't know anyone here, so didn't go, but here's an idea of who participated. There are some great slide shows of years past at their official website.

This morning was the 1st Annual 5K Shamrock Shuffle. I was too busy enjoying the fact that I didn't have to listen to Michael's snoring and snoozed through it, but it looks like a few people weren't too hungover from the previous night's stroll to take a stab at it.

Thanks Fish Lips

Lots of corned beef, cabbage, and green beer being served today. Not sure if the River Monster is going to get any. I can tell you that if I was playing pooper scooper behind this guy, there would be none of those things in his foreseeable diet.

I hope you're all having a good weekend, whatever your nationality.
