Waddle Waddle

The rest of you Thanksgiving revelers as full as we are? Burp. Lots of food, all of it good (even the Turkey-Less). Great company. What more could we ask for?

Zack is looking all so cool because he slept on his normal prescription glasses and only had these to see. They worked, the beer bread he made was great.

Cheers!

Look at the kitchen. Have you ever seen a kitchen this clean after making a huge meal? This was before we started cleaning.

Afterwards, we started to take a bike ride but there weren't enough of them (and I hate bike riding) so decided to walk instead.

What a pretty place - it smelled sooooo good. We even saw an osprey.

And then it was time to watch the sunset so we headed for the beach. Ron & I wandered down the beach looking for creature teeth. Ron actually has a book that tells you what you've found. Alligator tooth?

Pretty.

Next day. Breakfast (leftover hash brown casserole).

Time to hit the stores. We didn't care about the sales as much as we had to take advantage of being around stores at all.  It really wasn't too bad and we got some fantastic deals on sneakers and shoes ($20 at JC Penney!).

Time to walk around again and burn off round 2 of turkey (less) dinner.  Notice the alligator? The big alligator?  We walked closer and closer and closer before we got chicken and backed away.

Yep, we're having a good time.

  1. Looks like a great time ... but I'm not so sure I would ever get that close to a gagilator. I seem to recall that they can run pretty fast when the hunger bug hits them.

    Cheers

    1. Hi Dave - yes, it was a lot of fun. I miss hiking! I miss my friends!! And yes, we kept spouting off the facts we knew about alligator speeds. We were counting on the fact that it had been cold and the sun was about to go down. We hoped he/she was enjoying the warm rays too much to care about us idiots.
