Fun with Statues

Ok, this wasn't at the Custom's House but still funny.

A couple of weeks ago when I posted some people having fun with statues, I hadn't quite thought that it was just a matter of time before I'd be posting my very own. Our pals Tina and Ron are in town to abuse themselves in the Half marathon tomorrow (Sunday), and on the way to see if there was going to be an interesting sunset (there wasn't), we passed the Custom's House and its huge statues and couldn't help ourselves.

This, of course, led to us having to pose everywhere there was an opportunity, and we're still laughing at the photos this morning. I'm going to save the best for last so keep going.

We really are geeks.

Any opportunity to goose each other.

And the best one...Take it all in.

Tina went to sit behind Michael and the statue was so slick she just kept sliding down - wheeee! It looks like she's on top of someone, but that's another statue. It took a minute for Ron to figure out what was going on, as preoccupied with is pose as he was.

We did watch the Cat Man for a bit,

watched a funny escape artist,

and a guy jump through a tiny hoop while leaping over a woman on a bike, but we missed the crux of the activity either because it was too cold for them to be out (we went from sweltering to nippy), too cloudy for a sunset anyway, or we were just too late.

Today is another overcast and nippy day, but we'll be picking up our running goodies and fueling up on pasta later. Whose idea was this?
